Birding Ecotours offer both custom-made and set itinerary birding adventures to Africa and South America. Destinations include Peru, Brazil, Guyana, Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Gabon, Madagascar and many more exciting destinations. A popular African birding tour among the clients is the Northern Namibia, Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls Birding Safari with localised species such as Damara Tern, Bare-cheeked Babbler, Cinderella Waxbill and Pelís Fishing Owl. Peru, another popular and exciting destination, offers a breathtaking journey to Macchupicchu in search of species such as the Inca Wren, Highland Motmot, White-capped Dipper and Torrent Tyrannulet.
Knowledgeable and experienced guides ensure top quality birding tours with magnificent birding experiences. Budget tours (including camping trips) through to luxury and even deluxe tours can be arranged as required. In addition to the birding trips, mammal expeditions in search of shy and elusive species are offered, where Birding Ecotours guides use their specialist knowledge and highly developed observation skills to locate difficult and elusive species such as the Tigers in India, Jaguars in Central and South America, Gorillas in Uganda and other magnificent beasts that have only been seen by a privileged few.
There are also scouting trips to destinations that Birding Ecotours have not yet mastered. Relatively adventurous trips to destinations where the guides may not yet have seen all the birds in the area or may not have visited the area yet, these tours offer more adventure than the already well-established trips, with discounted prices.
Birding Ecotours has made it their policy to support local guides who show excellent potential to become successful. Contributions are made towards conservation and disadvantaged communities.
Through partnerships with other companies, tours are also offered to other destinations that include North America, Asia and Australia. Birding Ecotours aim to have strong birding tour programmes world-wide. There are currently two offices placed in South Africa and Peru.
